I have been largely self-taught and industry-certified over the years.
I have been involved in a Wide Variety of I.T.-based roles.
Regarding my interest in this field:
I have always kept up with consumer technology and continue to train in business technology, which is a passion of mine. I am happy to have been involved with Technology From the first x86 computer and Commodore 64 to the latest i9 Intel Computers and from the first Nokia 3320 to the latest iPhone and Android Devices, Wi-Fi routers, Printers, NBN, 3G and 4G Routers, SCSI Arrays, and POE.
During my career, I started at the bottom and worked my way up to Level 3 I.T. Analyst. I currently work full-time with Arup, a Global Engineering Firm. I have also been privileged to work for Several Service Providers, including FirstFocus, Fujitsu, RPM Global Mining, Ehealth in Medical Sector Supporting Monet, Best Practice, and in the Department of Housing and Public Works, Moreton Bay Regional Council and Data 3 for a Government Systems Migration from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
Experience and achievements in the mining sector include support and licensing, assisting clients in getting their $80,000 software working on their latest laptop, and reporting bugs to developers.
In the Project Space with Fujitsu, I was assigned to migrate users from their old computers to their new computers during a Hardware Refresh of Heritage Railways in NSW. I was also involved with Heat Mapping and WIFI access point Positioning for Fujitsu's Corporate Clients - over 150 sites in less than 2 weeks.
I can innovate, develop processes and methodologies for Large Projects, and work with attention to detail.
I am well seasoned in working with Large and Individual clients and everything in the middle.
I once got a free wheel alignment for getting a virus off a Mechanic's computer when their I.T. Provider could not remove it.
Regarding Small to Medium Businesses, I have transitioned all software and data from the dated end-of-life computer to New custom-built and Supplied high-spec value-focused computers, emphasising Data Redundancy using 'Raid-1' and Nightly backups.
